Davyhulme Golf Club Charity Weekend
The 2nd and 3rd October saw the annual Davyhulme Gold Club Charity Weekend take place, sponsored by Urmston Estate Agent Trading Places. The charities benefiting this year were Genesis Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.
The weekend comprised of two full days of golfing competition on the superb 18 hole course and a family party night held on the Saturday which was enjoyed by all. During the evening money was raised by various means which included auctions, tombola’s and games which the children all got involved in.
The weekend Sponsor Trading Places donated £2350 and items to auction. Pictured right to left is Trading Places Director Stephen Groves, Captain Neil Bradburn, Genesis representative, Dr Stuart Campbell and Pat Bond.
